Yesterday for some reason my daily routine did not go as always. I normally wake up, say my prayers and have breakfast while watching YouTube. Standard I make 4 slices of bread with peanut butter and coffee. Somehow I made 6 slices to take with me to the studio. Stopping in the city so my youngest son Fierme could buy something I sat in the car with my wife Evy and started eating my peanut butter sandwiches. At some point I noticed a guy across the street going for a garbage can looking for food I guessed. I tried signalling him to come over but he did not see me. Luckily he decided to cross the street so I could call him. I asked him if he was hungry and if he wanted a sandwich. Realizing then why I made an extra sandwich that morning. After giving him one of my sandwiches I could not help getting tears in my eyes. The situation made me sad at the moment but it again showed me how grateful we all should be if we have access to basic things like a sandwich. One of the things I ask for everyday in my prayers is for more people and families to be able to have a breakfast like I’m having at least everyday. Think of others when you are enjoying the basics or as we with certain things say the good things in life. Maybe because of the week we are in I sound a bit extra religious or churchy but it’s just my experience this week that I want to share with you. I wish you all a Happy Easter weekend filled with gratitude. No, a life filled with gratitude, gratitude and more gratitude. If you read this I am grateful that you took the time to read this, my third blog.
